Cross-System Reference Parameters

System Area Current Reference Parameters Engineering Note
Refrigeration Semi-hermetic piston units approx. 5–40 HP; reference cold-air range around -18°C to +10°C Final selection depends on load, refrigerant, ambient and evaporating conditions
Low-temperature refrigeration Screw-system source ranges include approx. -5°C to +5°C and -20°C to -15°C Capacity tables vary by refrigerant and operating point
Solar PV 605–740 W modules; up to 24.6% efficiency; 1500 VDC max system voltage String, inverter and racking design require exact module selection
Energy storage 5–20 kWh reference platform; 25.6 / 51.2 V; 90% DOD; 5,000+ cycles Current limits and inverter/BMS compatibility are project-specific
Solar cold storage 20/40 ft; approx. 5/10 t; -20°C to +15°C; 2300/4600 W Reference PV arrays 5×550 W / 10×550 W; battery autonomy requires separate calculation
FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

  • What technical information does RAXLYN need before engineering a refrigeration system?

The engineering review should include target room temperature, cold-room dimensions, product type and loading, daily throughput, ambient temperature, humidity, door-opening frequency, pull-down time, local voltage/frequency and installation conditions. Refrigeration equipment should not be selected from room volume alone.

  • What condensing-unit capacity ranges are represented in the supplied engineering portfolio?

The semi-hermetic piston condensing-unit family includes reference configurations from 5 HP to 40 HP, with an indicative cold-air operating range around -18°C to +10°C. Final selection must be based on the actual refrigerant, evaporating temperature, condensing condition and refrigeration load.

  • What options are available for larger or lower-temperature refrigeration projects?

The supplied engineering range includes semi-hermetic screw condensing units for larger-capacity duties, with source operating ranges including approximately -5°C to +5°C and -20°C to -15°C. Two-stage condensing packages are also included for demanding low-temperature storage and quick-freezing applications.

  • Are integrated refrigeration packages available for simpler cold-room installation?

Yes. The catalog lists one-piece / split integrated units in 2P, 3P and 5P reference configurations, with 220 V / 380 V power options. Reference operating ranges include chilled applications around 0°C to +10°C and frozen applications down to approximately -22°C, depending on the exact configuration.

  • Can RAXLYN support quick-freezing and high-throughput food projects?

Yes. A tray-based quick-freezing cold room is listed at -45°C to 0°C with a 5 HP low-temperature unit and 380 V / 50 Hz power. Continuous tunnel and spiral freezing systems are also represented, with tunnel capacities of about 300–2000 kg/h and spiral capacities of about 200–5000 kg/h, subject to project-specific product and residence-time calculations.
